The Supervisory Committee

Independent monitoring of and reflection on CIIIC's course and impact.

CIIIC's Supervisory Committee safeguards the quality, relevance and societal impact of the programme. As an independent body, it advises the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) on strategic decisions and monitors the progress of CIIIC's mission: strengthening the Dutch immersive experience (IX) ecosystem.

The committee consists of six members with diverse expertise. Together they bring a broad perspective on the role of immersive technologies in society: from a safe online environment and climate awareness to innovation in healthcare, the museum sector, the Industrial Metaverse and future-proof labour-market development.

The committee meets regularly and is appointed for the duration of the programme (2025-2029).
